PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lowering of quality of a portable transmitter caused by being put in and out in mechanism provided with a storage part for putting the portable transmitter in and out. SOLUTION: A vehicle side controller outputs a magnetic communication signal to the peripehral part of a vehicle door, and when a card type portable transmitter 2 carried by a user enters a receivable range and outputs a control signal including an ID code, the vehicle side controller collates the ID code and releases door lock and steering lock. An instrument panel is provided with a storage part 27 with a slot 27a for inserting the protable transmitter 2 in a freely in-and-out state. The lateral side wall parts of a case 13 of the protable transmitter 2 are provided with recessed groove parts 25, and the lateral internal wall parts of the slot 27a are provided with protruding streak parts to be fitted to the recessed groove parts 25. At this time, a clearance is secured between the external wall part of the case 13 and the internal wall part of the slot 27a to prevent sliding of the outer surface of the case 13.
