The invention concerns chemical paper pulp production method which comprises a continuous cooking process which consists in: treating, in an impregnation zone (a), wood chips with a first alkaline liquor; treating the resulting wood chips in a cooking zone (b) which includes, in any order, at least a concurrent space in which the liquor and the chips flow with the current, and at least a counter-current space in which the chips and the liquor flow against the current, so as to transform at least part of the chips into paper pulp; treating the resulting paper pulp in a washing zone (c); transferring the medium derived from the washing zone into a flash tank (d); submitting the medium drawn off from the flash zone to one or several washing treatments (e); and inputting at least a chelating agent in the washing zone (c) and/or in the flash tank (d) and/or during one or several washing treatments (e). |
