PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful robot welding gun having general applicability by changing a holding direction of a gun for a gun main body. SOLUTION: In a welding gun in which a gun bracket 11 to hold a gun main body 10 is connected to a wrist of a robot, the gun main body is turnably held against the gun bracket, plural engaging grooves are radially formed to a holding part 14 to hold the gun main body 10, with an operation rod 18 connected to a pressurizing rod 2 advancing/retreating with driving a motor, by selectively engaging an engaging piece 25, provided successively to the operation rod 18, to the engaging groove, a holding direction of the gun bracket is made variable against the gun main body.
