PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolled photosensitive material packaging member in which an optical shielding characteristic is improved, both countermeasure against dust processing of waste material of packaging member and countermeasure against the environment are superior, saving in natural resources can be attained and workability in pulling-out of an optical shielding leader flap is also superior. SOLUTION: This packaging member is made so that an optical shielding leader 20 of the rolled photosensitive material packaging member having a rolled photosensitive material scroll 100A having the optical shielding leader 20 for shielding light against an outer circumferential surface of a rolled photosensitive material while being connected to the leading end of a photosensitive material web 12 and a side surface optical shielding member 30 for the scroll is partially overlapped on the extremity end of the photosensitive material web 12 and connected by a connecting tape 13.
