The road sweeping and collection equipment (1) has a rotating brush (14) and a fan (24), together with a collection unit (3). It can be towed by a vehicle or self-propelled. The brush unit is provided with wheels and to it is connected the wheel-borne collection unit. The brush unit has a brush rotating crossways to the direction of travel and driven by a separate brush motor (16). The collection unit is provided with an inlet end (I) and an outlet end (U) and rolls behind the brush unit. The brush unit is provided with a fan (24) driven by the brush motor, which sucks or blows material in or out of an air hose connected alternatively to the fan inlet (25) and outlet (26a). |
