A TREAD RUBBRR COMPOSITION FOR TIRE

PURPOSE: A tire tread rubber composition suitable for being used under poor road conditions and comprising natural rubber as basic resin and improved carbon black is provided, which has both chip cut resistance and abrasion resistance. CONSTITUTION: This rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of natural rubber as base material; 30 to 100 parts by weight of carbon black having a nitrogen absorption specific surface area (N2SA) of 100 to 180 m2/g, a dibutyl phthalate (DBP) absorption of 100 to 130ml/100 g and a difference(ΔD50) between intergranular pores of 40 to 60; and 1 to 15 parts by weight of composite resin containing 10 to 70% by weight of resin-maleic acid anhydride and 30 to 90% by weight of C9 petroleum resin having an aromatic ring.
