PURPOSE: A memory for accessing to small-sized computer system is provided to read and write large-sized capacity data supplied from a system connected by the SCSI method quickly. CONSTITUTION: An SCSI connecting element(110) connects a memory device to a system for supplying large-sized capacity data. A DMA controller(120) renders data to access between the SCSI connecting element(110) and a plurality of flash memories(191, 192) and to be transmitted by controlling a flash memory control circuit(180). A microprocessor(130) is connected to each component of the memory device, an address bus, a data bus and a control bus. An N-VRAM(140) stores data applied from the SCSI connecting element(110) by being controlled by the DMA controller(120) and the microprocessor(130), and transmits the data to the flash memories(191, 192). A ROM(150) received a decoded result from an address decoder(160). The address decoder(160) inputs and decodes an address transmitted through the address bus, and transmits the result to the SCSI connecting element(110), the ROM(150) and a flash memory control circuit(180). The flash memory control circuit(180) responds to a flash memory control circuit selection signal applied from the address decoder(160), and controls an operation for reading data written in the flash memory. A reset signal generator(170) generates a reset signal for resetting the flash memory control circuit(180). The flash memories(191, 192) make read/write operation as the unit of a page possible, and make a deletion as the unit of a block.
