PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cracker which is capable of preventing broken pieces of a HIKIDAMA (a string coated with an explosive slurry emitting explosion sound when pulled) from scattering forward in an explosion, and suppressing the emission of the back fire to the proximal side as much as possible, and high in safety. SOLUTION: In a cracker in which a HIKIDAMA (a string coated with an explosive slurry emitting explosion sound when pulled) 3 and a HIKIDAMA receiving seat 4 are stored inside a cylindrical body 1, and a pull string 2 to explode the pull ball 3 is lead backward of the cylindrical body, the HIKIDAMA receiving seat 4 is provided with a hole 5 in a center of an inner bottom surface 6a of a cylindrical bottomed receiving seat body 6 to allow the pull string 2 to pass, and ribs 7 of the shape extending in the longitudinal direction are arranged with specified intervals in the circumferential direction on an inner circumferential surface of the receiving seat body 6 so that the leading ball 3 is held between the ribs 7, 7. Forward projection of broken pieces of the leading ball 3 is suppressed in the explosion thereby. The back fire is collided with the inner bottom surface 6a and inverted forward from the inner bottom surface 6a, and flows forward through a gap between the ribs 7, 7, and the forward discharge from the string passing hole 5 can be reduced.
