PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a voltage resonance type switching power source circuit by using parts elements having low withstand voltages and, at the same time, to improve the power conversion efficiency of the circuit and reduce the sizes and weights of circuit parts by providing a boosting circuit and roughly coupling an insulated converter/transformer with the boosting circuit and, in addition, providing a full-wave rectifier circuit on the secondary side. SOLUTION: A switching power source circuit generates a rectified smoothed voltage Ei by means of a full-wave rectifier circuit composed of a bridge rectifier circuit Di and a smoothing capacitor Ci. The full-wave rectifier circuit is connected to the tertiary winding N3 and primary winding N1 of an insulated converter/transformer PIT respectively through a smoothing capacitor CiB for generating boosted voltage and a diode DB for boosting and an orthogonal control transformer PRT. To the secondary winding N2 of the converter/ transformer PIT, on the other hand, a center tap and two sets of full-wave rectifier circuits composed of rectifier diodes D01, D02, D03, and D04 and smoothing capacitors C01 and C02 are provided. In addition, the DC output voltages E01 and E02 of the rectifier circuits are respectively utilized as the detecting voltage at and operating power of a control circuit 1.
