PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly heat and melt a toner without depending on the size of toner particles by fitting a tube containing a specified tetrafluoroethylene fluoroalkylvinylether copolymer around a roll. SOLUTION: The rotating member is produced by fitting a tube containing a tetrafluoroethylene fluoroalkylvinylether copolymer around a roll. The copolymer consists of the repeating unit expressed by formula I by >=75 mol% and <=90 mol% and the repeating unit expressed by formula II by >=10 mol% and <=25 mold. The thickness of the tube containing a tetrafluoroethylene fluoroalkylvinylether copolymer is preferably about 0.01 to 0.15 mm, and preferably has an endless cylindrical film form. The melt flow rate of the copolymer is 1 to 100 g/10 min, preferably 3 to 60 g/10 min. By fitting the tube around the roll, the obtd. roll can be used as a rotating member for fixing as a heating and fixing member for the toner in a laser printer or the like.
