<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand an operating margin, to simplify an driving circuit and to reduce the size and the manufacturing cost by commonly connecting the gate electrodes of an NTFT and a PTFT to a signal line and connecting the drain sections of the NTFT and the PTFT to a pixel electrode. SOLUTION: A PTFT 13 which constitutes a first C/TFT, a PTFT 24 which constitutes an NTFT 22 and a second C/TFT and four gate electrodes of an NTFT 25 are commonly connected to a Y direction third signal line 3. Then, the input terminals of the PTFTs 13 and 24 are commonly linked to an X direction first signal line 5 and the input terminals of the NTFTs 22 and 25 are commonly connected to an X direction second signal line 8. Then, the outputs of the two C/TFTs are commonly linked to a pixel electrode 17 which is one of the electrodes of liquid crystal 15. Thus, even though either one of the two NTFTs 22 and 25 or the two PTFTs 13 and 24 is slightly leaked, the pixel is driven because they are in a same phase.</p> |
