PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the fitting work of a demagnetization coil and to improve its workability by forming plural projection parts for holding the demagnetization coil on a glass part on the rear side of a cathode-ray tube(CRT). SOLUTION: In the fitting structure of a demagnetization coil 2 to a CRT, four projection parts 5 each of which consists of a pair of approximately elliptical projections 3, 4 for holding the coil 2 between them are formed on four positions of the glass part on the rear side of the CRT 1. The coil 2 is wound around four positions so as to be held between the projections 3, 4 of respective pairs. Since the structure winds the coil 2 around four positions of the glass part so as to be pinched between the projections 3, 4 of respective pairs formed on the four positions, the workability of fitting work of the coil 2 can be improved and the fit state of the coil 2 can be stabilized in addition to advantages such as cost down.
