PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a copying device to be convenient for an operation and also prevent the lowering of copying speed in the case of copying through the use of original size registration by displaying an original size registration picture receiving the designation of a registration picture list on a touch panel. SOLUTION: An original is placed on an original platen at first. In a basic picture, an original setting key is touched, an original setting picture is opened, the original size registration key of the original setting picture is touched and an original size registration screen is opened. The selection key G300 of the original size registration picture is operated and a registration key in which registration possibility is displayed and which is not registered yet is designated from registration keys G201-G205. Then, an original illumination unit moves while it illuminates the original by the touch of a reading start key G400, and a mirror unit moves and it scans the original on the original platen. Then, an original size is detected. The original size is read and the numeric value/ name of the original size and a fixed recording paper size are displayed on the registration key whose designated display changes. |
