In the preparation of solid spheres, comprising active agent(s) (A) homogeneously dispersed in a matrix of at least one auxiliary (B), by mixing (A) with (B) in the melt then extruding and shaping the melt using a nozzle, the melt is dropped from the nozzle by vibrational impulses and the drops are frozen and solidified by contact with a fluid.
