<p>The present invention is a novel therapeutic use of pregabalin, its derivatives, and the pharmaceutical salts thereof. The compounds are useful in the treatment of mania in all its various forms whether acute or chronic, single or recurrent, and whether or not it is associated with depression. The invention further includes the preventive treatment of bipolar disorder.</p> |
