PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harvester for a long root vegetable having excellent pulling and transporting performances of long root vegetable cultivated in a ridge state and excellent harvesting operation of long root vegetable. SOLUTION: In this harvester for long root vegetable equipped with a front digging and raising part 3 composed of both lifting plates 2 which are attached to a self-propelled working vehicle or a traction engine 1 such as a tractor, etc., dig and raise a long root vegetable such as burdock, etc., are opposed in an inverted truncated chevron shape in a top view and gradually inclined upward with reaching the rear part and a pulling and transporting part 5 which pulls and transports a long root vegetable backward by nipping of both right and left nipping belts 4 and is arranged behind the digging and raising part 3, a right and a left soil leveling and discharging bodies 6 capable of leveling and discharging mud dug and raised by the digging and raising part 3 are fixed to eccentric positions 8 of a right and a left rotors 7 installed at the rear part of or ahead both the nipping belts 4, respectively.
