POLYESTER FIBERS, FILAMENTS, AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An available polymer mixture used to produce polyester fibers and filaments is provided to be contained 4wt% of an addition and to be easily spun. CONSTITUTION: Fibers and filaments contain 0.1-4wt% of the polymethyl methacrylate for a fiber-forming polymer. The polymethyl methacrylate is formed of rod-like inclusions, and has 20,000-200,000g/mol of the weight-average molecular weight measured in an unoriented melt fiber extruded from a spinneret. Thereby the lateral particle size of the rod-like inclusions is smaller than 800mm, and the spinning speed of a spinning fiber is 8000m/min when the fibers and the filaments are produced.
