PURPOSE: A producing method of a wheel rim of a linear friction welding is provided to improve the speed of producing and to improve a molding property. CONSTITUTION: If a metal temperature rises properly at a first and a second end part, a relative linear or vibrating movement is stopped and if the relative linear movement is stopped, a face 22 of the first end part moves to perfectly align with a face 24 of the second end part. Then the increased power pressurizes the first end part to the second end part. In addition, a flash 36 of a material is extruded between the first end part and the second end part because of the temperature increased at the first and second end parts, and the first end part is permanently adhered to the second end part is cooled. Thereby, when the wheel rim is assembled, an after-leakage examination is not necessary due to the exactness and reliability of the linear friction welding process. |
