CONTROLLER FOR TRANSFER SPEED OF BOARD FOR CONTINUOUS ROLLING MACHINE

摘要

PURPOSE: A controller for transfer speed of a board for a continuous rolling machine is provided to correctly set board transfer speed and to predict advance rate in a tension state when transferring the board. CONSTITUTION: A preset calculating device(9a) calculates speed preset value of each rolling stand by considering a tension state when a board is transferred. The speed preset value is calculated with the predicted advance rate considering rear tension at an upper rolling stand and the predicted advance rate without considering tension at a lower rolling stand. A preset starting device sets the speed preset value and supplies a speed command to speed controllers(5a-5n) and then the speed controllers drive electric motors(4a-4n) depending on each speed command.
