PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate complication or the like during the mounting with a handy mounting of a heart beat signal processor by providing a pad contacting a nose of a user of a spectacles type frame with a detecting section comprising a photodetecting part and a light emitting part to extract a heart beat waveform signal of the user from an output signal of the detecting section. SOLUTION: A light emitting/receiving sensor (detecting section) 3 comprising a photodetector and a light emitting element is provided separately at the right and left parts of a nose pad 2 contacting a nose of a user of a spectacles type frame 1. In operation, when the user mounts the spectacles type frame 1 on him, reflected light from the user of the light irradiated from the light emitting element is received by the photodetector and the light signal received is converted into an electrical signal by photoelectric conversion. The electrical signal is transmitted to a signal processing means 4 containing a filter circuit provided at a separate position to extract a heat beat waveform signal of the user while the heart rate is computed based on a pulse interval of the heart beat waveform signal.
