PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transparent styrene-ethylene copolymer having high transparency, stereoregularity and a styrene chain structure of head-tail, and to provide its producing method. SOLUTION: This transparent aromatic vinyl compound-ethylene copolymer satisfies the following conditions. (1) A content of the aromatic vinyl compound is 1-30 mol %. (2) A stereoregularity of phenyl group of an alternate structure of an aromatic vinyl compound and ethylene contained in the copolymer measured as isotactic diad fraction (m) is larger than 0.75. (3) In a molded material having 1.0 mm thickness, haze is lower than 40%. |
