INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE FOR AUTOMATIC TWO-WHEEL VEHICLE

PURPOSE: An internal combustion engine is for devising to compact an internal combustion engine by enabling to arrange at a dead space of the rear part of a front bank of an oil pump and a water pump as enabling to arrange near a crankshaft of a transmission. CONSTITUTION: An internal combustion engine(E) has a crankshaft(15) loaded in an automatic two-wheel vehicle(M) toward to right/left. And an installation of the internal combustion engine contains the steps of: establishing a cylinder block on the upper face of a crank case(21) for storing the crankshaft(15), integrally connecting a mission case unit(95) for storing a transmission(8) at the rear part of the crank case(21), attaching a sensor(105) of a vehicle speed at the outer wall of the mission case unit(95), arranging an input shaft(96) and an output shaft(97) of the transmission(8) in the mission case unit(95) forwardly and backwardly and attaching a sensor(105) of the vehicle speed for sensing a rotation speed of the rear output shaft(97) as a vehicle speed at the rear wall of the mission case unit(95). Therefore, the sensor of the vehicle speed is easily attached at the rear wall of the mission case unit as not affecting from various peripheral devices attached at the rear face of the cylinder block and a cylinder head. Also, a minuteness of a sensing is improved by sensing the rotation speed of the output shaft of the transmission.
