PURPOSE: An SDRAM address translator is to reduce the data access time by arraying the packet data which cannot be stored and enhance the speed of the data access by arraying the main page of the buffer at different bank. CONSTITUTION: An SDRAM address translator comprises an ethernet network(100), a plurality of ports(120-125), a switch(110), a controller(112), a memory(114), and serve network(130-135). The eithernet network(100) includes the switch(110) which has the plural ports(120-125). The controller(112) controls the flow of data among ports. The controller uses the memory(114) as a temporary storage while data port is transmitted. Each of the port is connected to one of the plurality of serve networks(130-135). The serve network(130) can communicate with another serve network(134) by transmitting the packet data (140a). The packet data is received through the port by the switch. Then the controller(112) scans the packet data and stores at the memory.
