PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a compact spray gun and to improve its processing man-hour and maintainability, by fitting a coating packing and an air packing before and behind a cartridge installed concentrically around a needle valve to be spirally installed from an air piston chamber to an intermediate part between a coating chamber and the air piston chamber. SOLUTION: On the piston chamber 10 side of a cartridge 14 spirally installed on a gun body 1 to concentrically surround a needle valve 8, a packing chamber 17a is concavely installed so as to concentrically surround the needle valve 8 and houses an air packing 17 which is made of a resin or the like and has an L-shaped section. A conical wall 18a is formed on the coating chamber side of a hole 18 for the cartridge to hold a coating packing 20 between the cylindrical part 14a of the cartridge 14 and a packing receiver 19. A packing where a washer is installed between thin plate packing materials may be used for this coating packing 20. The sealing effect can be adjusted by the screwing adjustment of the cartridge 14, and the compactification of the gun body, a decrease in a man-hour, and the improvement of maintainability can be achieved. |
