The amplifier uses a waveguide covering the amplifier circuits to minimize parasitic feedback. The amplifier operates in the SHF region, with amplification circuits being assembled in a box and covered by a cover (31). Within the space which is formed between the cover and the amplification circuits, inside the box, there are waveguides (41-43). The cutoff frequency of these waveguides is such that they only allows to pass those frequencies lying within the operating band. By forming these waveguides within this space, in place of the normal absorbent filling, a better radio-electric isolation is achieved between the output and the input to avoid parasitic re-injection. |
