PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically meet a bias voltage to the threshold voltage of a voltage clipping circuit so that a duty ratio can be close to 50%. SOLUTION: In this waveform shaping circuit provided with a bias circuit consisting of a voltage clipping circuit formed by an inverter IC1 and resistances R1, R2 and R3, the bias circuit is provided with a duty ratio detection circuit consisting of inverters IC2 and IC3 feedbacking a direct current voltage corresponding to the duty ratio of a waveform, a diode D1, a capacitor C2 and resistances R4 and R5.
