DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING CONDITION CHANGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condition change detector for stably and easily detecting the change of a condition by analyzing an image in the case of monitoring the presence/absence of occurrence of disaster such as fire, the appearance of illegal invader or change of physiological state. SOLUTION: A condition change detector 10 calculates a statistic quantity based on lightness through a statistic quantity calculating part 2 concerning respective images inputted by an image input part 1 composed of a TV camera and an examination discriminating part 3 regards this statistic quantity as a sample. By examining the presence/absence of any difference in this mother group distribution while using statistic examination, the presence/absence of condition change is discriminated.
