<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointing mechanism capable of constituting a mobile or wearable system and a computer system using an operation interface high in image quality and low in cost. SOLUTION: This pointing mechanism to be used for designating a position on a display picture is provided with projecting means (a light source 1, a condenser lens 2 and an output circuit 52) for projecting light, a reflecting means 10 (a recursive reflection board) capable of reflecting the light projected by the projecting means and freely moving its position by an operator, a position detecting means (an imaging device 4, an optical system 5, an interface circuit 50 and an image processing circuit 51) for detecting the position of the reflecting means by the light from the projecting means which is fed back by the reflection of the reflecting means and a coordinate information generating means (a control circuit 53) for generating coordinate information corresponding to position or position change which is detected by the position detecting means.</p> |
