PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the life of a battery. SOLUTION: A display circuit provided with a battery 2, a liquid crystal display part l for displaying predetermined display contents by being impressed with the electromotive force of the battery 2, a touch-panel operation part 3 superimposed on the liquid crystal display part 1, and a light source part 7 for irradiating the liquid crystal display part 1 with light by being impressed with the electromotive force of the battery 2 to visualize the display contents to be displayed on the display part, is provided with a control means 9 for controlling impression of the electromotive force of the battery 2 on the light source part 7 independently of impression of the electromotive force of the battery 2 on the liquid crystal display part 1.
