PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic device capable of stably performing a quick feed of a stepping motor at a high speed. SOLUTION: When a position of a rotor cannot be detected when performing a quick feed by self-excited driving for supplying the next driving pulse by detecting rotation of the rotor after supplying a driving pulse PW, the quick feed is continuously performed by supplying the next driving pulse after passing a period I according to source voltage V of the driving pulse. Since the source voltage of the driving pulse and a speed of the rotor have relation to each other, even when the position of the rotor cannot be detected, the driving pulse can be supplied in the timing coincident with the position of the rotor by imparting the source voltage to a control element.
