A suspension for a subassembly that produces, receives and/or transmits torque in the drive train of a motor vehicle which is fitted with an internal combustion engine. Said subassembly (10) is comprised of materials that have a different thermal expansion coefficient to that of the material of the engine block of the internal combustion engine (12). A first non-rotating part (18, 22) of the subassembly (10) is connected to the engine block and a second rotating part (16) of said subassembly (10) is connected to an output shaft (14) that protrudes from the engine block. The first and second part (18, 22; 16) are configured in such a way that they surround the output shaft (14) at least partially. The first non-rotating part (18, 22) of the subassembly (10) is rotationally fixed to the engine block of the internal combustion engine (12) in a substantial manner in a non-positive radial direction by means of a coupling element (40).
