The invention concerns a device for automatic index guiding a mobile part (53), guided about an axis of rotation (5) on a fixed part (1) about said axis of rotation (5), said device comprising an indexed element (40) oscillating about an axis of oscillation (41) substantially parallel to the axis of rotation (5); an indexed ramp (12) which defines a plurality of stops for the indexed element (40), said stops being arranged at an angle about the axis of rotation (5); a cam path (10) for controlling the oscillating movements of the indexed element (40) about the axis of oscillation (41) when the mobile part is rotating; said device comprises a first single-piece rigid fixed flange (1) provided with several staged surfaces defining the indexed ramp (12), the cam path (10) and at least a bearing surface (13, 14) for guiding in rotation along the axis of rotation (5) a mobile flange (57) supporting the axis of rotation (41) of the indexed element (40).
