The present invention relates to a method for producing knitted fabrics, especially seat covers, with integrated fasteners. The objective of the invention is to improve a method of this kind in such a way that stable fasteners can be incorporated into a knitted fabric (10) without any substantial extra effort. While the fabric is being knitted, at least one strip (12) made from a thermoplastic material is knitted into said fabric (10) and subsequently subjected to thermal treatment so that a fastener can be formed from said strip. |
