<p>The method includes approximation followed by adjustment to achieve specific average power values. The method for constructing an assembly of constellations (Ci) of points (aij) which are non-equi-probable is intended for transmitting data between a transmitter (3A,3B) and a receiver (3B, 3A). It includes a first stage (20) which consists of constructing an assembly of constellations based on values near to the power of the constellations ( SIMILAR Pi). The second stage (301,302) includes verifying if the real average power of the assembly of constellations is lower than, or equal to the threshold. The third stage (303) includes re-adjusting, if necessary, one or more of the powers, but suppressing one or more points in one or more constellations, in order that the real average power of the assembly falls below a fixed threshold.</p> |
