PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of use for cushioning materials by a method wherein a pair of cushioning materials to be fitted at both sides of a bottom with insertion holes for fitting onto erected parts provided is provided. SOLUTION: A cushioning material 10 is molded as a unit out of a material having a sufficient shock absorbing capacity such as polystyrene foam, and formed in an L-shaped section so that it can be engaged with two corners connecting to one edge line of an article to be housed. Insertion holes 11 for fitting onto erected parts 9 are provided at the bottom 12 of the cushioning material 10 which is placed on an inner bottom plate 4a or 4b. With the insertion holes 11 fitted onto the erected parts 9, the cushioning material 10 can be fixed to a specified position. The height of the erected part 9 is set so that the front end thereof does not project beyond the upside of the cushioning material 10 when the erected part 9 is inserted into the insertion hole 11 of the cushioning material 10.
