PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb vibration transmitted from a transmission side by providing a mass damper to a change-gear select cable for absorbing the vibration transmitted via the change-gear select cable. SOLUTION: This change-gear select cable 6 is so formed that a socket 12 in an engine room side is fixed to a bracket 17 in a transmission 14 side, the socket 12 in a cabin is fixed to the bracket 11 in the car body side, and a mass damper 15 is attached in the front of the socket 12 in the cabin. An intermediate part of the change-gear select cable 6 is held in a dashpanel 1 by a grommet 13. If the vibration is transmitted from the transmission 14 side to the cabin inside via the change-gear select cable 6, the change-gear select cable 6 can absorb the vibration by the action of the mass damper 15 provided in the socket 12 so that the unpleasant vibration is prevented from transmitted to the cabin.
