<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus capable of burning exhaust gas at 1,300-1,400 deg.C to effectively develop the removal action of activated carbon to org. components in the exhaust gas. SOLUTION: Electrolytic furnaces 4, 5 each having a pair of electrodes 13, 14 and the activated carbon C charged in the gap between the electrodes 13, 14 and supplying a current to the activated carbon to heat the same to perfectly burn the exhaust gas passed through activated carbon at a high temp. of 1,300-1,400 deg.C to remove harmful components such as dioxin and a cooler apparatus 10 quenching the exhaust gas heated to high temp. by the electrolytic furnaces 4, 5 so as not to form harmful components such as dioxin or the like by a re-chemical change are arranged on the exhaust gas passage 2 from a dust collector 1 to an activated carbon adsorbing tower 7.</p> |
