PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helical blade type compressor that reduces rotating mass of the rotating cylinder and aims at increasing compression capacity without deteriorating manufacturability. SOLUTION: A rotating cylinder is provided with a rotating shaft 2 driven through rotation, a cylindrical fixed cylinder 11 to be fixed to the outside of the rotating shaft, a spiral groove 20 formed in the outer peripheral surface of the fixed cylinder, a blade 21 fitted with the spiral groove, a cylindrical rotating cylinder 17 disposed outside the blade and the fixed cylinder and fitted to the rotating shaft for eccentric revolution, and a plurality of compression chambers 22 formed between the rotating cylinder, blade and the fixed cylinder. The rotating cylinder 17 has one closed end. The closed side end of the cylinder is provided with the crankshaft bearing 17a and a thrust portion 17b.
