PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an urn container free from an overturn and a subsequent breakage even upon the occurrence of an earthquake or the like. SOLUTION: An urn container 1 has a hollow container 2 with the upper side open, and a lid member 3 for closing the upper opening of the hollow container 2. A cushion member 6 is stretched on the internal surface of the hollow container 2 as well as on the internal surface of the lid member 3. Also, support member 7 for internally coupling and holding bottomed cylinder type urns 5a and 5b are suspended in the hollow container 2 with four tension coil springs 10a, 10b, 10c and 10d. In this case, the tension coil springs 10a, 10b, 10c and have each one end engaged with the support members 7, and the other end the engaged with the upper end periphery of the hollow container 2. Also, the support members 7 with the internally coupled urns 5a and 5b are suspended so as to keep the bottom in contact with the upper surface of the cushion member 6 on the bottom of the hollow container 2. Furthermore, a nameplate 13 of thin plate is freely attached to and detached from an engagement receipt part 12 formed on the external surface of the hollow container 2.
