PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce frictional resistance of an enlarged ship to save power at navigation by forward projecting a spherical bow, and providing gas blow-off parts blowing gas in the water on the sides of ship of the spherical bow, in an enlarged ship of which the width is relatively large against the side of ship. SOLUTION: In an enlarged ship A, the area of the ship's bottom 1a of the hull outside plating 1 under a draught line is formed larger than the area of the side of ship, a bow is formed into a spherical bow 1c, but in this case, a plurality of gas blow-off parts 2 are provided on the side part positions of ship of the spherical bow 1c. This gas blow-off part 2 is provided for blowing off gas in the water, and a gas feed means feeding gas at fixed pressure to the gas blow-off part 2 is provided in the enlarged ship A. By blowing off gas from such gas blow-off part 2, the submerged surface of the enlarged ship A is covered with microbubbles. Thus, frictional resistance is efficiently reduced, and power for navigation can be effectively saved.
