A COHERENCY FILTER OF 8-WAY CPU SYSTEM

PURPOSE: The coherency filter of the eight-way CPU system is provided to realize the operation related to the cache by running the snoop operation without the waiting time. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the left cache controller, the right cache controller, the L_TAG, and the R_TAG. The left cache controller is serially connected with four P6 via the left P6 bus. The right cache controller is serially connected with four P6 via the right P6 bus. The L_TAG is connected with the left cache controller through the L_TA and L_TD line. The R_TAG is connected with the right cache controller through the R_TA and R_TD line. The coherency filter of the eight-way CPU system keeps the consistency of the data by managing the content of two caches.
