PURPOSE: Provided are therapeutics for circulatory diseases such as hypertension and congestive heart failure, which contain pyrroloazepine derivatives as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION: A pyrroloazepine derivative is represented by the formula(I), wherein R means a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched C1-6 alkyl group or a C7-10 aralkyl group, A denotes a linear or branched C2-10 alkylene, alkenylene or alkynylene group, Z stands for O, NOR1(in which R1 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group), or NOCOR5(in which R5 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group), and Y means a group as defined in the specification(wherein, R2 means a hydrogen atom or a cyano group, R3 and R'3 are the same or different and individually denote a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, and B is an oxygen atom, sulfur atom or a carbonyl group, sulfinyl group, sulfonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted cyclic or acyclic acetal group or a hydroxymethylene group which is substituted at the carbon atom thereof by a substituent selected from the group consisting of lower alkyl, phenyl and phenyl substituted by at least one halogen atom or C1-4 alkoxy group; and n stands for 0 or 1; or a salt thereof).
