APPARATUS FOR DISPLAYING OSD IN WIDE SCENE MODE & DOUBLE SCENE MODE

PURPOSE: An OSD display apparatus in a wide screen mode and a double screen mode is provided to prevent a wide screen and a double screen from being hidden by an OSD screen by displaying an OSD screen in an upper part or a lower part of a TV screen. CONSTITUTION: A high frequency signal transmitted from an antenna(100) is approved to a main tuner circuit unit(110). The main tuner circuit unit(110) amplifies an image signal of a selected channel and changes the image signal into a middle frequency by mixing with an oscillation frequency. A middle frequency amplifying unit(120) is connected to the main tuner circuit unit(110). The middle frequency amplifying unit(120) amplifies a middle frequency to a specific extent appropriate for displaying on a picture tube(220). A switching unit(190) is connected to the middle frequency amplifying unit(120). The switching unit(190) performs a switching function to approve a main image signal demodulation unit(200) or a PIP signal processing unit(180) in accordance with a control signal from a micom(140).
