The heat storage unit has a number of thermally insulated chambers (1-3) within each other. The center chamber (1) contains the heat storage medium for the highest max. temp. The outermost chamber (3) contains the storage medium for the lowest max. temp. Various heat sources feed the heat always into the chamber with the highest possible temp. The heat feed is by the carriage of heat in a solid heat conductor and/or a liquid carrier such as a mixture of glycerin and paraffin and/or by a glass fiber cable transfer from an infra red heater. The heat take-off is from the chamber with the required working temp. The heat storage medium is soapstone plates or fragments.
|
