PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a feed for livestock or the like from chaff produced as a result of rice polishing operation and having been treated as a waste. SOLUTION: Chaff produced as a result of rice polishing operation is ground and thereby reused as a feed for livestock or the like. Fine grinding of chaff in its original form which is refused by livestock or the like affords such a feed of high nutritive value which livestock or the like is willing to eat.
