SOLUTION: In a plate type heat exchanger comprising a plurality of weld plates 1 with a cassette structure sealed up by welding a passage between two plates and laminated through a gasket, a fastening means 15 with a higher strength is provided on and under the welding plates to fasten the two plates at peripheral parts or marginal parts of hanger parts 11 formed for mounting on guide bars.
