PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soap which enables a so-called soap piece at the end of use, which is a soap made small by the use, to be used completely. SOLUTION: A cavity 2 for attaching a soap piece made small by the use, i.e., a so-called soap piece at the end of the use, is formed on one side or on both sides of a soap 1. The cavity 2 is formed at the center part of the one side of or on both sides of the soap 1, is in the shape of an ellipse having a major axis as long as about 1/3 of the major axis of the soap 1, and has a depth of about 1/6 of the thickness of the soap 1. The shape of the cavity is not necessarily limited to be an ellipse; for example, it may be circular, rectangular, square, rhombic, or elliptical.
