<p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for cutting plate glass, capable of folding and curing without requiring a skilled worker and automatizing folding and cutting. CONSTITUTION:One face of plate glass 26 sandwiching a cutting line 1 is absorded on one suction table 12 and the other face of the plate glass 26, sandwiching the cutting line 1, on the other suction table 14. Then, at least one suction table is rotated around a lower position of the cutting line 1 as the center 44 of rotation, tha plate glass 26 is folded and cut and the cut sections of the cut plate glass 26 are separated. Since the cut sections can be mutually separated in cutting of the plate glass 26, mutual contact of the cut sections can be prevented and excellent cut is obtained. Powder of glass will not attached to the cut plate glass.</p> |
