PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To color-code display a required character mark by a display segment with continuity without damaging a fine sight. SOLUTION: The display device color-code displaying the required character mark by selectively combining plural display segments and light emitting them is provided with a display segment group 3 having a set of a first display segment group 1 arranging four vertical stick-shaped display segments 1b, 1c, 1e, 1f and three horizontal stick-shaped display segments 1a, 1d, 1g in a nearly squarish eight and light emitting with prescribed colors and a second display segment group 2 arranging four vertical stick-shaped display segments 2b, 2c, 2e, 2f and three horizontal stick-shaped display segments 2a, 2d, 2g in the nearly squarish eight and light emitting with the colors different from the first display segment group 1, and is constituted so that the first display segment group 1 and the second display segment 2 are constituted so that the horizontal stick- shaped display segments 1a, 1d, 1g, 2a, 2d, 2g are formed thinner than the vertical stick-shaped display segments 1b, 1c, 1e, 1f, 2b, 2c, 2e, 2f, and are adjacently arranged shifting in the oblique direction.
