PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely return paper money during its fetching processing by provid ing a means which instructs a fetching means to interrupt fetching the paper money while the fetching means is fetching the paper money and a return means which does not return the paper money already stored and returns the paper money under fetching. SOLUTION: When the depression of a cancel button is confirmed, paper money is taken out of a part A or C an returned to Mr. B through a return door of a sealing/accumulating part. As the separator of a 2nd money sealing/ accumulating part is closed, Mr. B cannot take out a fraction of¥500,000 of the preceding Mr. A existing at a part D of the 2nd money sealing/ accumulating part. As a result, Mr. B can take out only his own¥500,000 (117) and¥800,000 (116) and then takes out his sealed and preserved paper money 110. These sealed cash number and the number of bundles of paper money are notified to Mr. B via a teller machine and based on the serial numbers printed on the money bands. The procedure of this paper money processing system is over when a fact that the sealed cash has been taken out is confirmed.
